Dr. Joe’s Social Work Webinars

Coming soon!  For social workers seeking live continuing education credit for LMSW and LCSW license renewal, Dr. Joe Hunter will offer “Dr. Joe’s Learning Monday Series,” 4PM-5PM EST starting in December, 2015. Selected topics in social work assessment and treatment will be offered for a nominal fee. The live webinars include case discussion and interactive participation.

About Dr. Joe Hunter. Dr. Joe is a professor, expert facilitator, researcher and consultant in the field of social welfare. Dr. Joe earned a Masters Degree in Social Work in 1993, and he is a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He was the recipient of a SAMHSA dissertation grant and earned his PhD in Social Welfare in 2010. He was selected to be Hartford Geriatric Social Work Scholar, and his post-doctoral education included a teaching institute offered by Stanford University. Dr. Joe has teaching experience with New York State, NASW, Veterans Affairs, and the University of Southern California. Dr. Joe is the originator of Self Preservation Theory and has developed related assessments and clinical interventions that will soon be available to the public.
